OverviewOur client, a specialist M+E services provider with 45 years of experience, operating throughout the UK, are seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team due to ongoing growth.ResponsibilitiesCarry out servicing and repairs of commercial heating systems across a range of commercial sites, including prisons, educational buildings and government sites.Job RequirementsBased in the Derby or Nottingham area (within commutable distance).ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (in date).Expertise in commercial boiler servicing, fault finding, and repairs.Willingness to undergo and pass CTC clearance checks.Willingness to work in secure environments, such as prisons, with strict safety and security protocols.A valid driver’s license.Salary & BenefitsSalary: £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch).Travel paid after 30 minutes each way.Overtime at enhanced rates (up to 1.82x basic rate).1 in 7 weeks on-call rota.Company van and fuel card.Annual discretionary bonus based on business and individual performance after 12 months of service.Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays.Death in Service Insurance: 3x annual salary.Enhanced Sick Pay: 4 weeks full pay after 7 days of sickness (post-probation).Tools & Equipment: Mobile phone, tablet, and specialist tools provided.NotesThis vacancy is being managed by Bennett and Game Recruitment, a UK-based multi-disciplinary technical recruitment agency.
