Job Title: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Pay: up to 52,000
Location: Field-based - Covering Aberdeenshire and surrounding areas in North-East Scotland
Postcodes Covered: AB, PH, DD

We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team, covering a range of commercial properties across the North-East of Scotland. This is a mobile role with a focus on maintenance, repair, and compliance across client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on commercial gas systems and associated equipment.
Complete all necessary paperwork and digital reports accurately and on time.
Conduct fabric maintenance and basic electrical tasks as required under contract.
Ensure all work is completed in line with current legislative standards and health & safety regulations.
Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4)to provide out-of-hours support to clients.
Support colleagues when required and assist with supervision of sub-contractors, ensuring high standards of work and safety compliance.
Identify and communicate remedial work requirements and assist in quoting and sourcing information for additional works.
Issue Permits to Work and manage escort duties and small works where necessary.

Skills & Experience Required:

Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance, testing, and fault finding, including work on boiler plant, pumps, ventilation, and control systems.
Competence in basic electrical and general building services tasks.
Strong understanding of health & safety practices and safe systems of work.
Ability to work independently, use handheld technology effectively, and manage time efficiently across multiple sites.
