Commercial Gas Engineer – Job Overview

We are working with a well-established plumbing & heating company who provide design, installation, servicing, maintenance & repair on commercial heating systems. They are very well established and have over 70 engineers currently working for them.

They are looking for fully qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their reactive maintenance team. They work in the Newcastle, London & Bournemouth areas and also work nationwide.

Within this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing commercial gas systems across a variety of sites, and within a range of 200 to 600kW ensuring safe and compliant operation at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Respond to breakdowns and callouts, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a variety of commercial gas appliances and systems.

* Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with service schedules.

* Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe legislation, industry codes of practice, and company procedures.

* Complete all service reports, certification, and compliance documentation accurately using digital or paper-based systems.

* Participate in the out-of-hours rota and occasional weekend assignments.

* Work in line with company Health & Safety policies and site-specific risk assessments.
