With a healthy order book already secured through 2024 and into 2025, theyre now looking to grow their team by recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer.The Role:This is a hands-on role, covering mechanical and gas repairs, maintenance, and servicing in a variety of commercial buildings. Youll be working on systems such as AHUs, pumps, water heaters, boilers, and other plant room equipment. The role is door-to-door paid and includes being part of a 1-in-10 weekend call-out rota, with enhanced rates (time and a half on Saturdays and double pay on Sundays).Key Responsibilities:Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas appliances (e.g. boilers, warm air heaters, radiant tube heaters)Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs to heating and hot water systemsCarrying out gas safety checks and issuing the correct certificationAttending both planned maintenance visits and reactive callouts across commercial sitesUsing a PDA to complete job sheets and compliance documents accuratelyFollowing Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures at all timesProviding support to junior engineers when required and taking the lead on-site where necessaryThe Candidate:Were looking for a reliable and experienced engineer with:At least 5 years experience working in the commercial gas sectorValid Commercial ACS Gas qualifications (essential)F-Gas certification (desirable)A strong background working in commercial or light industrial settingsA full UK driving licenceWhats on Offer:Competitive hourly rate of £22.50 £23.50Paid door-to-door travelCompany van and fuel card23 days holiday plus bank holidaysPrivate medical coverOngoing training and career development1-in-10 weekend rota (with enhanced weekend pay)Interviews are being arranged now dont miss out on this opportunity to join a growing and well-established business.JBRP1_UKTJ
