Commissioning Engineer – Water Sector (Contract)

Outside IR35 | ~£400 per day | 1-month assignment

Location: Suffolk

Ceto Talent are recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer with proven water sector experience to join a short-term utility project on a contract basis. This position is outside IR35 and offers around £400 per day.

This role is best suited to candidates based near the Rickinghall area due to site location.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and deliver commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.

* Carry out system checks, testing, and validation of equipment and installations.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Prepare documentation, reports, and handover files.

* Liaise with clients and subcontractors for smooth project delivery.

* Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities for quality assurance.

Key Requirements

* Experience of working in the water sector, ideally waste water, within commissioning.

* Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

* Strong commissioning background within the water industry.

* CSCS card and EUSR card (can be obtained quickly if needed)

This is an immediate requirement, so availability at short notice will be a strong advantage
