Commissioning Engineer
Location: Various UK & International sites (with up to 80% travel)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Commission electrical and PLC control systems on customer sites.
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and end-user training.
• Produce detailed commissioning documentation, including test specifications, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with CE and machinery directive standards.
• Work with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to achieve successful project delivery.
• Maintain a professional, solution-focused approach and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• HNC/HND in Electrical or Controls Engineering (essential).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (desirable).
• Hands-on electrical commissioning experience.
• Exposure to PLC, HMI, or SCADA systems (desirable, but training provided if needed).
• Good understanding of bus systems and ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Understanding of automated warehouse or material handling environments (desirable).
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel internationally (up to 80%).
