Overview

UK Wide Travel Required. We are looking for a self-motivated and customer-focused Commissioning Engineer for our award-winning client based in Nottinghamshire. This business has an outstanding reputation for providing bespoke sustainable solutions to customers UK wide. You will be working in a specialist field, and training will be fully supported.

Responsibilities

  • Providing installation services for full new systems and upgrades for control panels
  • Read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Attending pre-installation visits to offer advice and guidance
  • Being involved in the planning process and attending handover meetings as required
  • Replacing bulbs, pressure vessels, junction boxes and electrical rotary isolators
  • Fault finding, pump programming and pipework upgrades
  • Knowing how to build standard, singlex and combi control panels so that you have a deeper understanding of their operation
  • Abiding by the RAMS provided and general health and safety requirements on site, Accommodation and daily food budget
  • Company pension scheme
  • A guarantee of a minimum of 40 hours per week. Due to high demand for services, there are also many opportunities for overtime available

  • Training and development to include CSCS Card, Working at Height Training, Confined Space Training and First Aid
  • 20 days annual leave + BH (ability to accrue additional holiday, buy/sell back scheme)
  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification as a minimum
  • Computer literate with experience of the basic Microsoft packages
  • Understanding of Health & Safety at a work
  • Eagerness for training and be happy to work towards CSCS, working at heights and working in confined spaces qualifications, if not already achieved
  • Flexibility to travel around the UK and stay away from home up to 3 nights a week with hotels and food budget
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Personable and friendly

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification (minimum)
  • Computer literate with experience of the basic Microsoft packages

  • Desire for training and willingness to achieve CSCS, Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
