About the role: You will be working in a multi-disciplined team delivering the planning, engineering and supplier management in support of one or more rig lines. These projects are aligned with bps strategy to grow the upstreamwith investment in oil and gas by developing bps North Sea assets. Bp is also committed to the UKs flagship Northern Endurance CCUS project. Key Accountabilities: ?You will be expected to interpret Well SORs and prepare completion BoD documentation in support of Safe, Compliant, and Competitive wells.
You will contribute to development of completion engineering well designs working with other disciplines.
You will always consider well control and process safety risks in completions design and operations
You will prepare and support execution of completion installation programs.
Inputs to costs, well timings for project FMs and well AFEs
You will be expected to manage suppliers in delivery of the well design and in execution.
You will review completion performance, identifying lessons learned and incorporate lessons into the next programme.
When required you will be expected to go to the well site to provide engineering support during the job execution stage.
Essential Education, Experience and Job Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum).
Worked for key industry supplier(s) and with at least one O&G operator
Strong experience in industry with focus on completions, workovers, and interventions engineering and operations. At least a portion of experience should be in subsea completions.
Other specific fields: Completions, Workovers, and Interventions Design, Engineering, and Operations; Subsea Well Operations; Fracturing and Stimulation; Well Performance; Data Acquisition; Rigs and Equipment; Perforating; Formation Damage; Wireline; Fishing; etc.
Valid Well Control Certification is preferred.
