Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a leading compressed air supplier and manufacturer.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Northwest of the UK. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, rotating equipment, or similar compressed air-related equipment.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Role
Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, and fault-finding on compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air products.
Maintain, repair, and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across the Northwest of the UK.
Install compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into various manufacturing industries.
Perform emergency breakdown fault-finding and repairs on compressed air equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complex electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, and capital equipment is advantageous. Training provided.
A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification (apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree) would be advantageous.
