Prior clearance will not be transferrable.Job Purpose / OverviewTo provide professional, high quality engineering support to the HPC Project on behalf of the Plant Integration Function and to ensure that the proposed design is compliant with UK regulations and context.Contextual InformationEDF has an established UK-based New Nuclear Build team developing EDF’s interests in new nuclear in the UK. EDF’s ambition is to construct and operate two new EPRs at Hinkley Point in Somerset. Each plant will cost several billion pounds to construct and at the operating stage will employ several hundred people. The Plant Integration team is responsible for ensuring the configuration and control of the HPC Nuclear Power Plant design to underpin the timely and effective delivery of the overall project schedule.
