Responsibilities

  • Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Conduct health and safety audits to identify and address relevant issues.
  • Focus on the construction phase of wastewater projects, assessing and reporting project progress, rectifying issues, and leading the escalation process as necessary. Ensure that all non-conformances are identified and corrected.
  • Manage, identify, and resolve snags and liaise with Operators and contractors after takeover to handle defects, the aftercare process, and performance testing.
  • Monitor, agree on, and approve takeover tests with the project team.
  • Ensure that the required project documentation meets specifications and that takeover information is approved.
  • Work as an active member of one or more project teams with one or more contractors.

Location and Working Pattern

Hybrid – Thames Valley Based. On-site 3-4 days a week, 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

The successful candidate must have a valid driving licence and access to a car. This role includes a car allowance of £4,500 per year.

What you should bring to the role

  • Have an HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or background in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety on construction sites or an SMSTS qualification can be offered as part of the role if not currently held.
  • Understand design, construction, and operations within industries like the theatre sector.
  • Background in project delivery and integration within the construction sector.
  • Be confident in communicating with stakeholders at various levels.

  • Competitive salary from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
