Contract Mechanical Engineer Healthcare Projects Location: Manchester (Hybrid / Flexible Working) We are seeking an experienced Contract Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of a series of high-profile healthcare projects. The role offers the opportunity to join a leading building services consultancy team on a contract basis, contributing technical expertise to the design and coordination of complex healthcare environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver detailed mechanical designs for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with HTM, HBN, CIBSE and relevant standards. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated design solutions. Produce technical drawings, specifications, and schedules to support project delivery. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression. Support project leaders in meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Skills & Experience Required: Proven track record as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, ideally with strong healthcare project experience. In-depth knowledge of HTM and HBN guidance. Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Hevacomp, IES, Revit or similar). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines.
