Control Panel / Equipment Test Engineer Location: St Helens Up to £42,000 (banding dependent) Days only - Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:30, Fri 8:00-14:00 We're supporting a leading engineering & maintenance provider with the recruitment of a Control Panel / Equipment Test Engineer to join their St Helens site. This role offers the opportunity to work on varied projects across multiple sectors, including chemical, power, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage. The Role You'll be responsible for: Inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation panels/systems (in-house and on-site). Ensuring all work meets customer specifications, deadlines, and compliance standards. Liaising directly with customers on-site to oversee and sign off works. Supporting the build and wiring of control panels when required. Carrying out site visits for modifications and upgrades to existing/new panels. Occasional small bore pipe pressure testing.
