JOB – Control Systems Engineer

LOCATION – Leicestershire

TERM - Permanent

SALARY – £40,000 - £70,000 (competitive depending on experience)

A Leicestershire based engineering company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HND of equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.

Strong background in Control Systems Engineering – modifications & commissioning.

Good understanding of PLC softwares such as Allen-Bradley & Siemens.

Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong communication skills.

Full UK driving license is beneficial.The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve:

Developing the existing control systems for current & future projects.

Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels.

Involvement in R&D.

Commissioning work before handover to customers.

Occasional attending site visits when required.

Providing support on installations when required.

Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
