The Role As a Cost Engineer, you'll be responsible for forecasting the cost of projects based on past knowledge and industry research and adjusting estimations and outcomes based on changing requirements. In addition, you'll be contributing to time allocation and management of project schedules and anticipating potential risks and devising solutions to prevent them. The Person To be successful in the role of Cost Engineer, you'll need have experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation using cost management systems such as Prism and Ecosys. This includes corporate finance systems such as Sap and Oracle. Experience within the Defence sector would be looked upon favourably. The Package As a Cost Engineer, you'll be on a salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience and is available on a hybrid working arrangement.
