Work with a leading provider of bespoke access and safety solutions for buildings across the UK. This company specialises in designing, installing, and maintaining cradle systems, safety wire systems, and a range of fall protection solutions.

We are seeking Crane and Hoist Engineers to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a company that values technical excellence, customer service, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, Repair, and Maintenance: Perform regular servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on cradle systems to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Installation: Assist in installing cradle systems and associated equipment in compliance with technical standards and company protocols.
  • Electrical and Manual Systems: Work with both manual and electrical cradle systems, ensuring proper operation and functionality.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with junior engineers and provide guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Travel and Onsite Work: Operate primarily in London, with occasional travel to projects across the UK, including Liverpool and Manchester.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining cradle systems (Lead Engineer role).
  • Basic knowledge of cradle systems (Junior Engineer role; training provided).
  • Technical qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid UK driving license (mandatory).
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home for projects.

Working Hours:

  • Standard: 40 hours per week (8/9 AM start).
  • Overtime: Applicable after 10+ hours of work/travel in a day.
