Data Engineer - Perm £50k + bonus - Evolving Gaming Hub (Greenfield Data Platform)

A global betting and gaming company embarking on a new journey to pioneer innovative products and become a true data-driven business is seeking a Data Engineer to support a greenfield project.

As a data engineer, you will be building the foundation for a greenfield data-streaming platform that will enable robust, sleek, and secure real-time reporting for various business departments.

Utilising modern AWS Services and cutting-edge technology to push the scope of data processes and enable the adoption of future tech.

Technology: Python, Pyspark, SQL, AWS

Salary: £50,000 + bonus

Location/Hybrid: 2 days per week to Central Manchester (M2)

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python and PySpark
• Strong knowledge and experience with SQL Databases
• Must have experience with cloud environments (AWS highly preferred)
• Demonstrable experience with complex data and data warehouse architecture
• Ability to communicate across cross-functional teams and non-tech stakeholders
