Data and Analytics is foundational to our Petcare OGSM goal to transform the experience of pet ownership through digitalisation at scale. To deliver on this ambition we require the very highest level of technical / engineering expertise within Global Petcare Data & Analytics. What are we looking for? For this role, we hope you have the following skills we require to round out our team: Must have
Experience in at least one programming or data manipulation language. Experience in processing and modelling data from diverse sources Familiarity with Python, SQL, PySpark, but more importantly, a willingness to learn is essential Ability and strong desire to research and learn new technologies and languages Interest in the contemporary data engineering and analytics landscape, the current tools, the latest approaches
Nice To Have
Experience with Databricks, Delta Live Tables (DLT) or Data Build Tool (DBT) Experience working in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience in building data pipeline/ETL/ELT solutions Experience working with consumer data in a real-time environment Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI)

Key responsibilities
Be a part of the journey to unveil deep insights about pets and pet-owners using data. Every step you take enriches our understanding. Get hands-on experience orchestrating data flows & pipelines in a cloud environment with a cutting-edge tech stack (Azure, Databricks, PySpark, SQL) Learn to incorporate DevOps & CI/CD methodologies to collaborate on a growing platform Partner with data scientists, analysts and technology partners, learning how to design and build complex data models for analytical and marketing use cases Get hands on experience ingesting and integrating data from a large number of disparate data sources Support in the development of high-quality code contributing to a platform which is scalable and easy to maintain Enthusiastically evolve your technical skillset, engage in training and learn new technologies and techniques
