The successful candidate will build robust ETL pipelines, shape BigQuery-based data warehouses, and deliver compelling Looker dashboards. What Youll Do:
Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL pipelinesleveraging DBT or your tool of choiceto feed a BigQuery data warehouse.
Transform raw data into clean, structured formats suitable for analysis.
Collaborate across engineering and analytics teams to implement scalable data models and dashboards (Looker/LookML).
Improve query performance and data storage efficiency.
Develop visual, user-friendly dashboards and ad-hoc reports that inform strategic decisions.
Implement rigorous data quality checks and governance protocols to ensure integrity across data workflows.
Were Looking For:
5+ years of solid
data engineering experience , with deep expertise in ETL and data warehousing (especially BigQuery).
Hands-on competence with
Looker (LookML)
or similar BI tools.
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow (or similar).
A thoughtful approach to data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to drive projects in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
Bonus points for experience in SaaS/subscription businesses, data visualization techniques, cloud environments (GCP/AWS), Python, Git, and Unix.
