This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical expertise, particularly with pumps and valves. A basic understanding of electrical systems is an advantage, but solid mechanical experience is essential.\n\nYou'll also travel once a week to a nearby site (no overnight stays), with all travel paid door to door.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance with the production team and contractors.\n\nMaintain, repair and replace mechanical components, with a focus on pumps and valves.\n\nComplete daily, weekly and monthly equipment inspections and log them using the maintenance system.\n\nIdentify and report any safety or production-related issues.\n\nHelp manage spare parts stock and ensure statutory inspections are kept up to date.\n\nProvide maintenance data and reports to support capital expenditure planning.\n\nAssist with upgrades and improvements alongside the wider engineering team.\n\nFollow site safety and quality procedures, and participate in safety walkarounds.\n\nSupervise and manage contractors on-site as needed.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nProven mechanical maintenance experience, especially with pumps and valves.\n\nBasic electrical skills are a plus.\n\nStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, "can-do" approach.\n\nFull UK driving licence (clean - licence checks required).\n\nComfortable using maintenance planning systems and following safety procedures.\n\nInterested?\n Apply now and be part of a team that values reliability, teamwork and high engineering standards.\n\nRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
