Brio Digital is partnered with a pioneering robotics client who are building advanced, scalable, and safe AI-driven systems designed to transform how humans and machines interact in the real world. Their first-generation platform is tackling labour automation challenges, enabling efficiency and safety across industrial use cases such as manufacturing, construction, and logistics.

This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation at the frontier of applied AI and robotics, where you’ll be solving cutting-edge challenges in deep learning and embodied intelligence.

Overview

The Role: Deep Learning Engineers (Manipulation) are sought to join the team. This is a deep learning-focused position where you’ll build and train models that enable robotic systems to interact effectively with their environment. You’ll work across the full lifecycle: training policies, curating data, leveraging synthetic datasets, and deploying real-time inference models.

Robotics experience is not strictly required, but you must bring a strong track record in deep learning and the ability to adapt quickly to new domains.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Train manipulation policies using representation learning, behaviour cloning, and reinforcement learning.
  • Partner with data and teleoperations teams to define quality standards and drive diverse data collection.
  • Integrate multimodal inputs (vision, audio, proprioception, LiDAR/point clouds).
  • Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines for simulation and real-world datasets, ensuring coverage and surfacing failure cases.
  • Collaborate with MLOps teams to scale distributed training and deliver efficient models for real-time deployment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience building and deploying deep learning systems, with shipped models or published research.
  • Strong Python skills and proficiency in PyTorch or JAX.
  • Hands-on with at least one of: LLMs, VLMs, or image/video generative models.
  • Experience with deep learning infrastructure (datasets, distributed training, checkpointing, etc.).
  • Clear, structured communication of experiments and trade-offs.

Nice to have:

  • Robotics or autonomous systems experience.
  • Productisation of neural networks for real-world use.
  • Publications in major ML/AI conferences or strong open-source contributions.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary plus stock options.
  • Generous paid leave (aligned with local standards).
  • Travel opportunities across global office hubs.
  • Office perks including meals, snacks, and team events.
  • Freedom to own initiatives and influence product direction.
  • Work alongside world-class engineers and researchers in a fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment.

If you’re passionate about deep learning and want to help shape the next generation of intelligent robotic systems, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV and examples of your best work.
