Our OEM Client based in Dunton, Essex, is searching for a Design Engineer (DTO) to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st December 2025. Umbrella Pay Rate: £29.43 per hour, increasing to £38.16 per after 13 weeks. Position Description: Design feasibility and CAD engineering. Design Understanding. Curious mind / Innovation mindset. Design Feasibility Status, Hard points plan and Executive Summary. Coordinate and support benchmark for technical solutions applicable to the attributed project. In charge of the CAD design and development of highly complex components as single part and parts assembly with interdependent functionalities. Coordinate and support technical communication with Design and all non-Design Departments. Check incoming data from internal and external suppliers for compliance. Ensure feasibility and appropriate dimensioning of the developed CAD data (e.g., strength, rigidity, cross-sections, centers of gravity, Masses, moments of inertia).
