Door Hardware will involve: Design Engineer position dealing with a high end manufactured range of door and window hardware such as: locks, hinges, handles, letter plates, lock cylinders Design and develop new locking systems and hardware, from concept to production Utilise 2D/3D CAD tools to create models, drawings, and prototypes Collaborate with colleagues across R&D, manufacturing, and sales to ensure products meet customer needs and can be produced efficiently Conduct research on materials, technologies, and industry trends to inform designs Test prototypes, analyse results, and refine designs for performance, safety, and cost Prepare technical documents and contribute to product pages Contribute to ideas for improving current product ranges The ideal applicant will be an Design Engineer
