Design Engineer key responsibilities - Design and develop bespoke mechanical systems and assemblies tailored to customer requirements. Produce accurate 2D manufacturing drawings and detailed 3D models using SolidWorks. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and supporting technical documentation. Specify suitable components and systems aligned to engineering and safety standards. Work closely with production, quality, and project teams to ensure successful delivery. Contribute to design reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities. Design Engineer desirable
skills & experience - Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Strong proficiency in CAD, with SolidWorks experience preferred. Skilled in producing manufacturing drawings, models, and detailed technical specifications. Knowledge of machined parts, fabricated structures, and assembly methods. Experience working on bespoke or project-based engineering solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
