If you've got the design flair and are looking for a role that values both creativity and work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop bespoke mechanical systems and assemblies tailored to customer requirements.Produce accurate 2D manufacturing drawings and detailed 3D models using SolidWorks.Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and supporting technical documentation.Specify suitable components and systems aligned to engineering and safety standards.Work closely with production, quality, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.Contribute to design reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.Skills & ExperienceDegree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.Strong proficiency in CAD, with SolidWorks experience preferred.Skilled in producing manufacturing drawings, models, and detailed technical specifications.Knowledge of machined parts, fabricated structures, and assembly methods.Experience working on bespoke or project-based engineering solutions.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.PackageSalary circa of £40,000+ depending on experience.Relaxed and supportive working culture with no micromanagement.Lunchtime finish Fridays and free on-site parking.Company events and discretionary bonuses.Be part of high-visibility, technically diverse projects with long-term stability.How to applyIf interested in this Design Engineer position, please apply through this advert immediately.ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
