Design Engineer Oldbury Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 4:45pm, Friday 7:45am - 12:45pm £40,000 per annum DOE Permanent, Office-Based

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Oldbury. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of innovative products across various industries. Key Responsibilities: * Create and modify 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and/or Alphacam. * Develop CNC-ready files and support programming for foam conversion machinery. * Collaborate with production and technical teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective. * Assist in prototyping and testing new product concepts. * Maintain accurate documentation and design records. * Support continuous improvement initiatives within design and manufacturing processes.

Requirements: * Proven experience in a design engineering role using SolidWorks and/or Alphacam. * Strong understanding of CAD/CAM principles and CNC manufacturing. * Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. * Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
