Overview

A company that specialise in electro-mechanical systems for the Automotive / EV industry is seeking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to work from their site in Surrey (with 1 day per week WFH).

Responsibilities

This position will involve using Solidworks to perform design work related to electro-mechanical assemblies, motors and components for electric vehicles. Solidworks familiarity is not a pre-requisite for this position if you are user of a different type of CAD software.

Experience / Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will be experienced Mechanical Design Engineers with a good all-round high-precision design background.
• Any experience of electro-mechanical systems and components would be of benefit, preferably related to Automotive or EVs.
• Experience with SolidWorks is not a prerequisite if you are a user of a different CAD software.
