Cure Talent are delighted to be supporting a global leader in infection-control solutions for healthcare, specialising in the design and manufacture of sluice-room equipment used in hospitals and care facilities worldwide.We re seeking a hands-on Design Engineer to join the Engineering team. You ll be involved in a wide variety of projects, from creating and improving designs to supporting production, purchasing and quality. This is a practical, varied role where you ll help ensure the products meet rigorous regulatory standards while supporting the growth of the company s expanding portfolio.Key Responsibilities IncludeCreating new designs and improving existing productsProducing build documentation, QA procedures and engineering change notesCarrying out product and prototype testing, approving improvements and implementationUpdating and maintaining CAD drawings, layouts and Bills of MaterialsSupporting cost-reduction and quality-improvement activitiesVisiting and approving suppliers as requiredWhat We re Looking ForHND or Degree in Design Engineering, minimum 5 years experience in design engineeringStrong CAD capability (Inventor, SolidWorks or similar), with knowledge of sheet metal, injection moulding, castings and electro-mechanical systemsUnderstanding of QA processes, product testing and Design for Manufacture principlesConfident producing drawings to BS 8888, with knowledge of GD&TPractical mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving and fault-finding skillsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to play a pivotal role within a global leader in healthcare technology.
