Social network you want to login/join with:We're looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to lead the development of both temporary and permanent works on major civil engineering projects. This role offers a great mix of hands-on design, technical leadership, and team collaboration.You'll work across tenders and live projects, producing practical and innovative solutions involving shoring, foundations, ground stability, and structural systems. You'll also play a key part in reviewing designs, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.What you'll be doing:Producing and checking detailed civil and structural designsOverseeing ground assessments and temporary works proposalsCollaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teamsManaging documentation to meet CDM, QHSE, and ISO standardsWhat we're looking for:Chartered EngineerA degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringExperience leading and mentoring engineering teamsFamiliarity with NEC and JCT contractsSkilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, and BIM workflowsIf you're ready to lead design on meaningful infrastructure schemes, get in touch ASAP.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
