Composites Design Engineer

Hybrid Working: 3 days per week on site, 2 days from home

6-month minimum contract with potential to extend

£45-50 per hour – Inside IR35

Security Clearance Required: SC level

We are seeking a highly skilled Composites Design Engineer with a strong background in Aerospace or other high-performance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop composite components, using Siemens NX.

• Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to final design release.

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience (minimum requirements):

• Proven experience in Aerospace or high-level environment.

• Proficient in Siemens NX and Fibresim CAD software.

• Strong background in composite materials.

• Experience with tooling design and design for manufacture.

• Ability to manage the full design lifecycle from concept to release.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
