Job Description:

We're looking for a Design Services Engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision.
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings according to approved procedures, including technical specifications.
• Provide technical oversight on new product or service ideas and plan designs.
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual.
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have experience designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on traffic signal design solutions.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller specifications.
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking.
• Knowledge of LinSig 3.
• Full UK driving license.
