Overview

Desk-Based Subsidence Engineer sought to manage a portfolio of subsidence claims on a traditional and project managed basis.

Responsibilities

• Handle claims/projects up to £1m in value for domestic and commercial / industrial properties.
• Oversee your own caseload of claims from start to finish after an initial visit undertaken by others.
• Assess damage and determine causation / policy liability.
• Write and submit full reports outlining findings and commenting on the nature and extent of damage.
• Negotiate with contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in the claim.

Qualifications

• MRICS or MCIOB qualification is ideal, though not essential.
