Desktop Support Engineer
to join us on a
12-month fixed-term contract , supporting our customers with technical challenges and delivering outstanding service. Whether its resolving issues remotely, providing onsite assistance, or guiding users through their tech troubles, youll be the first point of contact and the person they trust to get things sorted. What youll be doing as a Desktop Support Engineer:
Provide technical support both remotely and onsite Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues Monitor and manage customer services proactively Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues Create and maintain knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency Support helpdesk operations and contribute to continuous improvement Collaborate with clients to understand and meet their needs Recommend improvements to IT services and onboarding processes Stay sharp by learning new skills and earning industry certifications What youll bring:
1+ year in a technical helpdesk or first-line support role Experience with Windows 7 & 10, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint Active Directory management, hardware support, and mobile device support (iOS/Android) Basic networking and printer support skills Bonus points for experience with Windows Server features, Mac OS, and AV equipment What were looking for:
A confident communicator who can explain tech clearly Someone whos personable, proactive, and ready to take initiative A team player who can work independently and manage their time well A passion for learning and growing in a fast-paced environment Qualifications:
5 GCSEs (AC) including English, Maths & Science HND or equivalent IT qualification MCSA/MCSE and ITIL certifications (desirable) What We Offer:
