Desktop Support Engineer

Keystream are recruiting for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join an IT team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical public services while delivering hands-on IT support to end users.
Key Specifics:
Rate: £220 p/day (Maximum) IR35: Inside Working arrangements: 5 days p/week onsite
Key Responsibilities: Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across the organisation Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and standard desktop applications Manage user accounts, permissions, and devices via Active Directory Set up, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices Log and update support calls using the service management system (e.g. ITSM) Liaise with other IT teams and third-party suppliers where necessary Assist with office moves, hardware refreshes, and project rollouts Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a desktop support or IT support role (public sector desirable) Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office 365 Experience with Active Directory, SCCM/Intune, and remote support tools Familiarity with ITIL practices and service desk environments ...
