As part of the Engineering team, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our Layer 2 solutions by contributing to the ecosystem with workshops, technical contents and building meaningful relationships with developers. At the same time you will be supporting the foundation departments when it comes down to their technical needs. If you stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, particularly in the Ethereum ecosystem and you have a genuine passion for collaborating with developers, we would love to connect with you.Your ResponsibilitiesDeveloper Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, both within and outside the Arbitrum community. Act as a key point of contact for technical inquiries and supportAdvocacy and Community building: Serve as a passionate advocate for Arbitrum by developing and executing strategies to grow and nurture a vibrant developer community around Arbitrum. Organise meetups, webinars, workshops, and other events to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaborationContributing: Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and contribute to the open source ecosystem to help developers integrate with Arbitrum seamlessly. Deliver educational content through various channelsFeedback Loop: Gather feedback from developers and relay it to our product and engineering teams. Advocate for developers' needs and priorities within the organisationCollaboration: Collaborate closely with the internal cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and engineering, to align developer outreach with our strategic goalsMetrics and Reporting: Track and analyse developer engagement metrics to measure the impact of developer relations efforts. Use data-driven insights to refine strategiesAssess leads (e.g. grant proposals, product requirement documents, etc) from a technical standpoint, focusing on the technical team capabilities, architecture and source code and the timeline credibilityContributing back to the ecosystem via open source contributions or the production of other educational materialsWhat You'll NeedYou are fluent in one or more general-purpose languages (e.g. Typescript, Python, Go, Rust, Java, etc)Fundamentals of SolidityDeep understanding of blockchain technology and EVM solutionsStrong English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independentlyExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsBachelor in computer science or equivalent work experienceNice to havePrior experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a related role in the tech industry, within the blockchain or cryptocurrency spaceDemonstrated experience in community building and engagementPrior commercial experience with SolidityExposure to RustOpen-source contributor on the EVM spaceYou speak another language (e.g. Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Korean, Japanese)Arbitrum Foundation PerksThe Arbitrum Foundation's benefits program is designed to prioritize the health and well-being of you and your family.
