DevOps Engineer (Senior)

DevOpsUK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team of consultants. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, using your expertise to help them design, implement, and maintain their infrastructure and deployment pipelines. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be expected to take on leadership roles, mentor and guide other team members, and help drive technical decisions.Key responsibilities:Work with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirementsDesign and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelinesMaintain and optimize infrastructure as codeCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deploymentsMonitor and optimize system performance and availabilityDebug and troubleshoot production issuesDevelop and maintain monitoring and alerting systemsContinuously improve and automate processes and systemsMentor and guide other team membersTake on leadership roles and help drive technical decisionsQualifications:At least 10 years of experience in a DevOps or similar roleStrong knowledge of Linux and shell scriptingExperience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or ChefExperience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Python, Ruby, or Go)Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with agile development methodologiesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience in a leadership or mentorship roleIf you are a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a passion for helping clients solve complex technical challenges and mentoring and guiding other team members, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
