Role Description: Netcompany is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Operations Team and drive forward our support capability to deliver high-performing solutions to our clients. About the Role: As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions for our prestigious clients. You will leverage your expertise in Azure and Infrastructure as Code to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work on some of the largest, most complex and technically innovative programmes in the industry. Essential Minimum of 3 years' extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including advanced resource management, networking, and security implementations Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools such as Terraform Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting Experience managing TeamCity - creating pipelines, setting permissions and upgrading the system. Confident in using Octopus Deploy - cloning projects, configuring deployment targets, updating deployment pipelines and managing SSL certificate renewals Advanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues in production environments Comfortable working across both Windows and Linux server environments. Familiar with server migration processes, including DNS updates, access configuration and system decommissioning. Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team knowledge growth Excellent project estimation capabilities with a history of delivering complex projects on time Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities Desirable Competent in SQL for basic querying and support of database-driven applications. Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications Knowledge of cost optimisation strategies for cloud resources Azure certifications, such as AZ104 Azure Administrator Associate Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and config Background in implementing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions for critical systems Strong background in cloud security principles and implementation of security controls in Azure environments Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent senior-level professional experience Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable Additional Information
