DevOps Engineer
6 Month contract initially
Based: Hybrid/Gloucester or Warrington. Mostly remote
Rate: £375 - £400 p/d (via Umbrella company)

We have a great opportunity with a world leading organisation where you will be provided with all of the support and development to succeed. A progressive organisation where you can really make a difference. We have a great opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join the team.
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform, Git/GitHub, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
* Manage source code repositories and version control using Git and GitHub.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodeBuild.
* Build and manage AMIs and automate infrastructure deployments.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve automation.
* Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications.
* Apply best practices for cloud security, networking, and infrastructure management.
* Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience:
Must-Have Skills:
* Proficient in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Strong experience with Git/GitHub for source control.
* Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
Good to Have Skills:
* Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.
* Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
* Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and tools.
* Basic knowledge of Networking concepts.
* Scripting experience in Python and Bash.
Experience with:
* Building and managing Amazon Machine Images (AMI).
* Using Azure DevOps for pipeline management.
* Automating workflows using GitHub Actions.
* Implementing builds with AWS CodeBuild.
Certifications Desired:
* Terraform Associate
* AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
