This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure program success from concept through launch and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesGuide vehicle design with Product Planning and Design Office teams to ensure feasible technical solutions.Establish and track Cost, Weight, and Investment (CWI) targets early in program development.Oversee supplier sourcing, design release, and tooling readiness.Manage Closures system/component test plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.Provide launch support at assembly plants and ensure successful supplier integration.Address post-launch warranty and quality issues with exterior trim and Closures systems.Required QualificationsBachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.5+ years of engineering design and development experience.Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with design, development, or release of Closures components (sheet metal, plastics, sealing).Familiarity with DFSS, DFMEA, and validation testing.Experience leading engineering teams to meet quality, fit/finish, functional, and CWI objectives.Excellent communication and project leadership skills.Strong background in automotive engineering or manufacturing.Demonstrated problem-solving ability.Ability to travel to the US for business meetings.NotesInformation provided in this posting reflects the role as described and does not include extraneous site navigation or account prompts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
