Overview

DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) – Contract 4 months (Inside IR35). Hybrid location – 1–2 days per week on-site in London. Rate: £500–£620 per day.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage Infrastructure as Code pipelines for application deployments.
• Deploy and maintain applications using Kubernetes within private cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automation and efficient workflows.
• Work with researchers and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
• Optimise resource usage while ensuring application reliability and performance.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience deploying applications with Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in production environments.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of public and private cloud environments.
• Previous experience working within a Higher Education or Research environment.
