OverviewDevOps Engineer - Azure (Contract)Location: Remote with occasional day on siteContract Type: 9-12 months (with potential extension)Start Date: October 2025Rate: up to £425/dayIR35: OutsideWe are seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our clients Azure-based container infrastructure. You will play a key role in enabling continuous integration and delivery, ensuring system reliability, and embedding security best practices across a greenfield technology platform.This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in cloud-native environments, understands the nuances of container orchestration, and is passionate about automation, scalability, and secure delivery.ResponsibilitiesDeliver and maintain a secure, scalable Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environment.Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for containerised workloads.Ensure compliance with cloud security policies and access controls.Support containerisation of legacy applications and new services.Enable monitoring, alerting, and incident response for container workloads.Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and team knowledge sharing.Skills & ExperienceEssential:Proven experience with Azure cloud platforms.Hands-on expertise with: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Docker, Helm, container orchestrationAzure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or JenkinsInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD automation.Experience with secure cloud architecture and compliance frameworks.Excellent communication and mentoring skills.DesirableExperience with Azure Arc for hybrid/multi-cluster scenariosFamiliarity with container-native security and governance toolsExposure to regulated environmentsApply now or reach out for more details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
