About the role

DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product installations and updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. You will also manage SQL Server databases for routine maintenance and to support the needs of development and testing teams. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately and securely.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Implement integrations requested by customers
• Deploy new applications, updates and fixes
• Provide Level 2-3 technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Support Cloud VDCs and integration/migration to/from on-prem systems
• Manage, support and perform maintenance on SQL Server installations

Experience

• Experience as a DevOps engineer in cloud-based environments (minimum 2 years)
• Experience with monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing production systems
• Strong Shell/Bash/Python scripting skills (minimum 2 years)
• Hands-on experience with Containers (Docker) and Orchestration tools (Kubernetes/ECS)
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with Git, Jenkins
• Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
