The Opportunity
The Rimes DevOps Team is at the heart of Core Engineering, its primary objectives to ensure that the Technology in use by Rimes customers is innovative, reliable, performant, scalable and secure. Delivering world class Customer experience for our both External and Internal users to the Rimes Corporation.
We operate a global service, our teams are both passionate and committed to the demands of our customers ensuring that we are both innovative and proactive in delivering the technology and mission critical data within SLA. Rimes delivers its technology from both our own Datacenter and the Cloud.
We are currently recruiting a DevOps Engineer to join our global Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm with a global presence and significant growth potential.
What you will do:
- Work with development and infrastructure to create reliable, repeatable pipeline processes
- Own CI builds and continuously improve deployment pipelines
- Participate in the delivery of existing infrastructure
- Participate in the design and delivery of Rimes' technical transformation
- Use an agile approach to DevOps workloads with continual improvement
Core requirements:
- Demonstrable experience delivering DevOps practices in Azure environments
- Expert-level proficiency with both Terraform and Ansible
- Hands-on experience with other DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub
- Familiarity with automated testing and integration within CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of VMware virtualization, Windows Server, Linux, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and participate in incident management
- A natural problem solver who shows initiative and accountability
- Software Development/programming background
- Experience with DataBricks
- Awareness or use of principles like: Code reuse, DRY, KISS, YAGNI.
