The Role

We are seeking a skilled

DevOps Engineer

with hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/delivery. You will design, implement, and manage infrastructure across AWS and Azure, leveraging modern tools such as Terraform, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and automated solutions within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Manage source code repositories and version control with Git/GitHub. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodeBuild. Build and manage Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) and automate infrastructure deployments. Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve automation. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud infrastructure and applications. Apply cloud security, networking, and infrastructure management best practices. Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency.

Your Profile

Essential Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Strong experience with Git/GitHub for source control. Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. Minimum 4 years' experience in DevOps engineering. Active Security Clearance. Desirable Skills: Kubernetes container orchestration. Strong Linux administration knowledge. CI/CD pipeline development experience. Networking fundamentals. Scripting in Python and Bash. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodeBuild. Certifications (preferred): Terraform Associate AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Working Conditions

Willingness to work in shifts and provide out-of-hours support as required. Participation in on-call rota.
