Balfour Beatty is seeking a dedicated Digital Delivery Engineer for our exciting NZT Project based in Teesside (Northeast). As part of the digital team, the digital delivery engineer will help support and facilitate the successful embedment of digital tools and processes across the Project. Work with the wider Digital team to become a subject Matter expert in digital tools and processes. Responsibilities
Capture, document, and feedback lessons learned on the success and failure of digital tools, processes and their implementations. Capture additional requirements and feedback to the team. Receive products into service and ensure their successful roll out across multiple schemes. Lead digital adoption of products and processes on projects. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with a range of project stakeholders. Ensure appropriate SME representation in Digital initiatives. Plan the roll out of digital tools onto schemes. Ensure best practices and processes are followed with regards to Digital. Drive the adoption of established digital minimum expectations into all local projects. Own the deployment of digital tools onto each new local project. Track and report on adoption of digital tools. Develop processes and implement a digital culture with the use of Digital Technology across the Customers, Regions, sectors, and Frameworks which align with Balfour Beatty Built to Last and build a Digital Balfour Beatty. Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm. Enthusiastically and openly share guidance and technical expertise while ensuring learning resources are widely available. Own the training and deployment plans for digital tools implementation on the project. Lead training sessions for key systems on the project. Undertake configuration of devices for new starters on the project, ensuring setup and onboarding for digital systems planning in relation to roll out of digital tools onto schemes.
Essential qualifications
Recognised construction industry experience. Experience of using digital tools and processes. Ability to lead the use of digital software applications and train others. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to deliver in a collaborative manner. Work under time pressure. Proficiency in IT and digital tools. Create effective relationships with the project team and supply chain partners. Ability to multitask.
Preferred qualifications
Understanding of Design, Construction, Asset Management stages in the Digital lifecycle.
