Be part of a team developing new payment products and platforms for American Express customers. This role focuses on creating interactive experiences across the consumer journey—from pre-purchase to post-purchase—and may involve new payment vehicles, partnerships, and mobile experiences. You will work with the latest mobile technologies and influence how millions interact with cards, merchants, and money.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on architecture, design, development, and testing of Payment Applications
• Be a member of an agile team driving user story analysis, software development, testing, and automation
• Utilize best-of-breed technologies to build a layered, component-based, service-oriented architecture over existing Amex technologies
• Maintain a positive, proactive attitude in a fast-moving environment
• Foster collaboration across multiple internal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Expertise in JavaCard domain, EMV Payment Applications, Host Card Emulation and payment cryptography
• Knowledge of Global Platform technologies and key management principles
• Nice to have Android and iOS development exposure related to payment processing
• Experience in high-performing Agile development teams
• Proven experience designing and developing mobile applications in an Enterprise setting is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
