OverviewAn excellent opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a well-established company.Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.Salary: Competitive £35,000 - £40,000 PA, depending on experience. On-call payments: £1,200 for 10 weeks averaging £300 - £450 per on-call period (based on 20 hours of on-call work).Location: Cardiff.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.About The CompanyOperating for over 20 years, with a foundation of loyal customers and quality workmanship. Specialising in new installations, maintenance, gas services and construction projects. They work with local authorities, private sector companies, and many local business and private clientele. The company is now looking to recruit an experienced domestic gas engineer to join their team.ResponsibilitiesCarrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and servicing of commercial and domestic gas & general plant room equipment.Attending reactive, diagnostic and repair calls to domestic & commercial gas appliances and plant.Completing associated gas certification documentation in line with industry requirements.Emergency call out rota system in place.Candidate RequirementsFull driving licence and gas qualifications essential with a minimum of 3 years\' time served experience.Applicants must be an experienced Domestic Gas Heating Service Engineer with good diagnostic/repair skills.Experience of press fit pipe fitting, plumbing and domestic installation would be an advantage!Company BenefitsCompany vehicleCompany uniformCompany Bonus Scheme (based on criteria)Company PensionIf you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.The employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
