DV CLEARED ONLY] Systems / Integration Engineer — National Security
6 Days Old
Systems / Integration Engineer – National Security Projects
Location: Hybrid, 3-4 days on-site
Clearance: MUST HOLD ACTIVE DV CLEARANCE.
Design the systems that protect the nation.
This isn’t just engineering — it’s mission engineering. You’ll be at the heart of complex, high-stakes programmes that blend hardware, software, RF, and cyber technologies into integrated solutions that keep the UK safe, secure, and resilient.
We’re looking for a Systems Engineer who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving gnarly technical problems, and can confidently lead conversations with customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams. You’ll be the glue between disciplines — translating vision into architecture, and architecture into reality.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading technical design and integration of mission-critical systems across RF, EW, cyber, and comms domains
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers — shaping strategy, guiding decisions, and building consensus
Planning and executing system installations (UK and overseas), working with civil contractors and commercial teams
Driving product development and roadmap alignment, from concept through qualification
Chairing design reviews, managing requirements, and de-risking delivery through robust V&V planning
Writing high-quality technical bids and documentation that win work and inspire confidence
What You’ll Bring You don’t need to tick every box — but if you’ve got experience in any of the following, we’d love to hear from you:
Full lifecycle systems engineering — from requirements to deployment
Integration of hardware, firmware, and software (especially SDR, RF subsystems, high-speed ADCs)
Knowledge of EW, military/civil comms systems, or adjacent domains like radar or secure networking
Configuration and risk management, product safety, EMC and environmental compliance
Experience in production environments — designing test rigs, supporting manufacturing, qualifying products
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate technical decisions with clarity and confidence
Why This Role?
Impact: You’ll be solving real-world problems that directly affect national security.
Variety: Every project is different — from RF cyber to middleware, from strategy to hands-on integration.
Growth: Join a team that’s doubled in size over 4 years, with plans to double again by 2027.
Culture: No corporate fluff — just smart, driven people working together to push boundaries.
Ready to engineer systems that matter?
If you want to work on meaningful tech in a secure, mission-led environment — we’d love to hear from you
