Electrical Design Engineer

Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Location: Nailsworth, Stroud

About the role: We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our client, a specialist and growing engineering company, to assist with the creation of new designs and the modification and updating of existing designs through accurate technical drawings. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a global reputation serving the aircraft industry. The successful candidate will undertake design work based on specifications, produce precise drawings, and liaise with production, purchasing, and sales teams as needed. Essential Skills and Experience:

Proficiency with CAD software Strong attention to detail for reviewing and modifying drawings Experience in team management, specifically managing a team of electricians Excellent customer service skills, as the role may involve customer-facing interactions Good technical understanding of electrical components and their functions Knowledge of resistors, diodes, and relays

Desirable Skills:

PLC knowledge (preferred but not essential) Research and Development (R&D) experience
