We are looking for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced electrical schematics and systems that deliver high performance, safety, and reliability. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative designs to life, supporting a wide range of projects with your technical expertise and adaptability.


What you will do as an Electrical Design Engineer


  • Design and develop advanced electrical schematics for complex projects.
  • Analyse and optimise electrical systems for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Define detailed requirements for electrical systems to ensure robust design foundations.
  • Document schematics and designs with precision and accuracy.
  • Select cables and protective devices to the highest safety standards.
  • Provide expert input on component selection and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Take on a variety of engineering tasks, demonstrating flexibility and versatility.
  • Contribute to internal and external meetings with valuable technical insights.
  • Maintain well-structured documentation aligned with operating procedures.


What you will bring as an Electrical Design Engineer


  • Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience specifying electrical components and understanding of electrical standards.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and design review processes.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electronics and system-level integration.
  • Proven experience designing electrical systems for complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Zuken E3 or similar schematic capture/design tools.
